DiabLew Tune

Testimonials!

Welcome! Thank you for your interest in a custom DiabLew Tune for your GM vehicle* !!

For a custom tune for Ford, Dodge, Chrysler/Jeep vehicles, check out Tuning Super Store !

Using Diablosport's CMR tuning software, I am able to edit parameters available throughout the entire tune file and am not limited to just the parameters that you have available to you via the handheld Predator/Trinity interface.

Besides just getting your LTFT's dialed in, I also make adjustments to a wide variety of other different parameters that will gain you quicker throttle response, faster acceleration, stronger/harder pull, better mileage, etc. Your PE fueling (for WOT) and spark advance (timing) tables will also be adjusted accordingly, based on log file data that you will need to provide to me.

If you just want trouble codes disabled - such as rear O2 codes, Cat. Converter codes, A.I.R. codes, EGR codes, etc etc.,
please contact me at diablo.help@gmail.com for that cost.

For all of the custom tune work and log analysis that's performed, I ask for a reasonable fee of $105 (USD). This will cover getting your full custom tune all dialed-in and finalized, as well as any future tune re-adjustments... for example: Should you decide to change or add additional mods to your vehicle that would require a new tune – a new tune with the new adjustments will be provided to you at no additional cost.   (some restrictions apply. excludes NOS dry shot... excludes (but not limited to) turbos & superchargers, cams, heads, etc. - since these really require you to be on a dyno to be tuned correctly/safely)

My PayPal account for the $105 (USD) payment is:  diablo.help@gmail.com  —  Click here to go to PayPal

Now, besides the paypal payment, here's what else you will need to provide me with:

I need a copy of the Diablo tune that's currently installed in your vehicle, and also a copy of your original backup tune. Follow the set of instructions below that applies to your model/revision Predator:

If your Predator is a U7198, U7195, U7193 or U7192 and it is an OLDER 2.XX REVISION, you will need to download and install this app: GM99_02PredatorInterface_108.exe — and then follow these instructions

If your Predator is a U7198, U7195, U7193 or U7192 and it is on the NEWER 9rXX REVISION, you will need to download and install the latest version of the DSDownloader — and then follow these instructions

If your Predator is a U7191 (rev. 9r02 or lower) or a U7194 (rev. 9r07 or lower), you will need to download and install this app: GMLS2InterfaceInstaller.exe — and then follow these instructions  –  and to get your original backup tune copied out, follow the same instructions, but instead of selecting to export the "extra tune" to your PC, you'd select to export the "original backup".

If your Predator is a U7194 (rev. 9r08 or higher) or if you have a Trinity, you will need to download and install the latest version of the DSDownloader — and then follow these instructions

To get started with the tuning process, I will also need a normal, steady driving/cruising log so I can check to see where the average LTFT's are at, and make the necessary injector slope adjustments. Click here for info on how to do a data log correctly  –  and you will also need to download and install the latest version of the DataViewer application in order to export/download the log file from your Predator/Trinity to your PC.

Once you get the normal, steady driving/cruising log done and the two tune files copied out of the Predator/Trinity to your PC, you need to email me those three files at:  diablo.help@gmail.com

Once I get your initial custom tune done for you, you'll need to install it, put on about 100 miles, and then do another normal steady driving/cruising log so we can re-check the average LTFT's to make sure they're all set to go.
Again, click here for info on how to do a data log correctly.

After your LTFT's are dialed in, then I'll ask you for another log or two for WOT runs, so that we can get your WOT/PE fueling/AFR adjusted correctly, as well as any timing adjustments that need to be made in order to eliminate any KR you may be having.

When doing WOT logs, you would log the same parameters as you did for the steady cruise log. To get a good WOT log, you want to start from a dead stop if you can, or at least from as slow of a roll as possible. Then, just GET ON IT!! Pretend you're on a drag-strip, hammer-down and go for as long as you can, through as many gears as you can. BUT, BE SAFE!! And only do one good WOT run per log - so, after the WOT run and you're coasting down, you either continue cruising until the log is full, or you can press the ESC button on the Predator a few times to get back to the main menu to exit the data logging and it will save the log.

It usually takes about 4 revisions to get everything squared away - between looking at multiple logs I'll need you to do, and tweaking the timing, fueling and whatnot... and, I'll keep tweaking it as much as necessary in order to get it all setup and lookin' good!

Also! - please let me know if you have an instant messenger screenname. It makes things a lot easier and quicker when working with people in the event that questions arise or info is needed. I have AIM, Yahoo, and MSN Messenger, so I can do any of those three... so if you have an instant messenger account with any of those, please let me know which one and what your screenname is.

Thank You!!
